The Nova Scotia Native Women's Association (NSNWA) held a ceremony and awareness walk on Sunday at the Wentworth Park Bandshell. in honour of MMIWG2S (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit). The event featured solemn drumming and heartfelt speeches, followed by an awareness walk from Wentworth Park to the Jane Paul Indigenous Women's Resource Centre on George Street in downtown Sydney.
